Bike Carriers & Bike Racks

3 bike racks and carriers

We recommend using a tow bar mounting rack if you need to carry 3 bikes, principly because of the weight when fully loaded. If you're thinking of carrying any specialist bikes, particularly e-bikes or fat bikes, then a tow bar mounting bike rack is certainly the best option for ease of loading.

Roof mounting bike carriers are an alernative option (we offer some fantastic discounts when buying multiple roof mounting bike carriers). Please note that you will need roof bars and will need to check your roof loading limit.

The list below includes some 2 bike racks with an additional bike a adapter. If you are need the flexibility to occassionally carry an extra bike go for one of the 3 bike carriers. You can always add an extra bike adapter at a later date.

All our tow ball racks are in our 90 day exchange scheme so we hope that you'll buy with the confidence that if your first choice is not quite right then you can exchange it for another.

We have no doubt that Atera's STRADA Sport and E-bike (tilting) and STRADA DL (sliding) tow bar bike racks are the best. Why?
  • They're kind to you and your back: relatively very light, very easy to carry around
  • they sit horizontally on the tow ball as soon as placed there; other racks crash onto the ground until they're clamped on
